The Final Project: Presenting your solutions to your audience
The Final Project is culmination of the work you've done all semester. It's a professional document that could be handed to a primary audience who will receive it gravely and seriously. The document will demonstrate your understanding of the problem and offer reasonable, well-considered, and appropriate solutions that are well supported by your copious primary and secondary research. Whether you are presenting a manual, a feasibility study, or a technical report, your document will be clear, concise, coherent, and responsive to your audience's needs.
Levels of Audience*
Primary Audience: The document will be mainly directed to this audience's needs as decision-makers. It's expected that this audience would read the entire project.
Secondary Audience: As the implementers, this audience may be mainly focused on the Solutions and how to enact them. Tertiary Audience: This audience is likely to make use of your table of contents and skim the project. *If you are writing a manual, these levels will be slightly different: the tertiary audience, your manual users, will play a key role in your final project. Please review the appropriate slides of the Proposal video for a refresher. Final Project Draft Workshop #1
