By now, a complete description of exactly who your Project Primary Audience is should be fresh in your mind, so you will be able to write to that person or group effectively when we return from the Thanksgiving holiday. Here, post five traits about your primary audience. (Please note that the audience's relationship to the project/how they'll benefit from your solutions are not traits.)
Here's a sample: Primary Audience: Greg Smith
1. Acting Division Chief at NIST
2. Worked with the acoustic thermometer from 1995-2005
3. 22 year career at NIST; started as a physicist
4. Oversees every project in four divisions
5. PhD from University of Michigan
If you have two members of your primary audience, pick one. If your primary audience is a group, name five traits that all group members share. For many of you, you'll be able to do this without thinking. If you don't know five things about your audience, that's a clear sign that some research is overdue.
